We invite you to submit a proposal for a paper to be presented in this event. Participating in the speakers’ program demonstrates your personal and professional commitment to the industry and the quest for safer, better pipelines.
The Pipeline Professionals’ Association of Nigeria (PLAN) is a non-profit organization devoted to the aim of raising professionalism whilst elevating the quality of operations and maintenance of pipelines in Nigeria. PLAN is the only association of its kind that is focused on the improvement of pipeline assets in Nigeria.
Each year PLAN organizes and hosts an annual AGM/Conference & Exhibition on pipelines; our event gathers together 200 – 300 of the nation’s pipeline Professionals, Regulators and enthusiasts from all spheres of the Pipeline Industry and is the only event of its type.
Our membership currently comprises Corporate Oil Producers including NLNG, SPDC, Total-ELF, Addax Petroleum etc, many Oil Servicing Companies, and Regulatory bodies – DPR and NAPIMS, as well as individuals who are dedicated to the cause of pipeline professionalism.
This one-day forum will address the following issues:

|National Development vs. Leadership||Operators, Public Private Partnership (PPP) Service Companies etc|

|National Development vs. Power & Power theft||Ministry of Power, IPPs, State Governments etc|
|National Development vs. Hydrocarbon & Gas theft||NNPC, DPR, PPMC Service Providers, Operators etc.|
Please ensure that Presentations will cover the above stated themes.
- The time available for presentations will be 30 minutes, with five additional minutes for discussion.
- The program will comprise two sessions with a round-table open forum discussion to conclude the proceedings.
Prospective authors and speakers are invited to send brief abstracts by e-mail to [email protected] by close of business on 14th of November 2012 for review by the Technical Committee.
The intent of this Forum is to share practical, usable information in an objective and frank way, whilst not being a sales showcase. Proposals for presentations should endeavour to meet these criteria.
All attendees, exhibitors, guests and speakers (including esteemed surrogates and representative) from outside Port Harcourt are advised to arrive on the 28th as the event is a one-day function and will not operate on the principle of “Nigerian time”.
