On behalf of the Management Committee of Pipeline Professionals’ Association of Nigeria (PLAN), we wish to formally invite you and your staff to attend the forthcoming 2013 PLAN Conference, Exhibition & AGM scheduled to take place as follows:

- Time: 07:30 hrs (participant sign-in registration). 09:00 hrs – 17:00 hrs (daily)
- Theme: “Creative and Innovative Approaches to Pipeline Protection & Life-cycle Management: Imperatives to National Development”
We invite you to submit a proposal for a paper to be presented in this event. Participating in the speakers’ program demonstrates your personal and professional commitment to the industry and the quest for safer, better pipelines.
Prospective authors and speakers are invited to send brief abstracts by e-mail to [email protected] by close of business on 6th of November 2013 for review by the Technical Committee.
The intent of this Forum is to share practical, usable information in an objective and frank way, whilst not being a sales showcase. Proposals for presentations should endeavour to meet these criteria. Guidelines for writing abstracts can be found on our site.
The event as in the tradition of all PLAN events is free for PLAN members that are in good standing with the Association. For all others entry charges are as N 10,000.00 (includes 1 year PLAN membership)
Exhibition Stand fees
Exhibition stand fees for the 2-day workshop & exhibition are as follows:
- PLAN corporate members — N 40,000.00
- Non-members — N 80,000.00

All attendees, exhibitors, guests and speakers (including esteemed surrogates and representative) from outside Port Harcourt are advised to arrive on the 19th November, as the principle of “Nigerian time” is not in keeping with the principles of professionalism.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Not really. A list of all registered attendees will be at the entrance, you will just need a mode of identification, that said it is easier to just bring your ticket along.
Will out-of-town attendees be catered for?
Out-of-town attendees are highly welcome, however neither the Association nor her sponsors will provide any form of logistical support for such attendees.
Can I present a paper at this event?
