Happy week PLAN-ners! I hope the weekend was stress-less and reinvigorating. If not don’t worry, you have a Public Holiday coming up to enable you catch up on your beauty sleep next week. 🙂
By now I’m sure you are all aware that the Warri Technical Session has been postponed by 1 week to accommodate the said Public Holiday, all other details remain unchanged, but the date is now 4th April, 2013. Don’t forget to register for the event either via our site or the PLAN Event Page on EventBrite —> http://plan-warri-ts-planLIn.eventbrite.com
A list of hotels conveniently situated near the event venue will be broadcast via our events newsletter before close of business today.
Two weeks ago I informed you about the “Call for Papers” for the Warri chapter organized Technical Session, there still exists a window of opportunity to submit, contact me on or before Friday 18th March, 2013 (info@plan-ng.com) however I cannot guarantee your presentation’s inclusion in the event brochure.
Regarding the Call for Papers, in response to Mr. Ikie query (answered via phone call) the required synopsis/abstract should be long enough to give the reader a broad understanding of your paper but not thesis length i.e. about 2 to 3 paragraphs, and the paper should be relevant to the Tech Session theme: PIPELINE SYSTEM: IMPACT ON HSEQ & REGIONAL ECONOMY
