  • The Association was formally inaugurated on the 24th December 2005
  • PLAN was incorporated on the 23rd September 2006.
  • PLAN held her first AGM on the 6th day of July 2006
  • The first Technical session held on the 11th day of May 2006
  • High Level meeting between PLAN Executives and the National Security Adviser (NSA) in July of 2008
  • Unveiling of the PLAN operational vehicle 3rd Quarter 2008

      PLAN Today

      PLAN now has four chapters in:

      • Port Harcourt
      • Warri
      • Lagos
      • and
      • Abuja
      With over 600 registered individuals and 56 corporate members (a major leap from the four foundation members). The Association has held numerous Technical sessions, Seminars and Workshops, all geared to expanding the knowledge base of practitioners (both technical and non-technical) within the Oil and Gas sector, with emphasis on pipelines.

      PLAN has liaised with various Administrations to push for greater growth in the pipeline sector, most recent being an invitation to a public hearing organized by the Senate Committee on Oil Theft and Losses in Abuja.
